Tank bag and Sat Nav

I've got my Garmin Quest bracket mounted on the handlebar clamps centrally, howver, I'm concerned that if I get a tankbag that it will become almost invisible, has anyone else got this set up of sat nav and a tankbag, if so, is it a problem?

I have the same set up and use a Baglux Alpha bag.

No probs - even for a shortarse like me

If you use the BMW tank bag you wont be able to see the screen of the GPS as it will be pushed away from you by the tank bag.

Yeap, if you have the garmin infront of the bag you won't see it. better to use a U bolt round the instrument/screen bar and it will sit nicely behind the screen, right in your line of sight and above the instruments

No problem with my Quest on the handlebar clamps and Touratech bag.

I can only say that I've got that set up with the Garmin and a Touratech mount and I have no problem at all with a B*W tankbag (as long as its not in the double volume configuration - ie. twice the height). Very happy with the setup.
Are Pipen and Matkat on the short side ?
