Hi All,

Anybody recommend me a nice tankbag for my 650? Any pics out there?

I've got the BMW tang bag, its fine, its large enough and expands aswell.
The fittings are good too (remember that the bike has a plastic tank so magnetic bags are no good !!)

If you're not in a hurry, I've got a Touratech bag you can have - it doesn't have the leather brackets, but it's in good nick otherwise - I'm not sure if I'm buying another 650 or something bigger at the moment, but should know in about two week's time.

That FAMSA looks like a really well thought out bit of kit and at £77 is good value compared to the relatively basic BM one (£80).

One on order. :thumb

Simply,

I'm liking the look of that Famsa bag. does the map pocket come off and zip down to the base seperately?

Cheers

Hi 650 Essexboy a. how important are the leather bits? B.If he doesn't want it can I have first refusal please? And C. how much do you want for it?

The leather bits are the bits that hold the bag onto the bike - so they're essential! I imagine you can get them as separate parts from tt though :nenau:

Thanks, I'll find out, so how much would you be looking for it if you decide it's surplus mate?

afraid not its all one unit. I think the TT one zips off and on again. The main reason i went for the fasma was it was all soft fittings when i take everything off there is nothing left on the bike(like sticky velcro fixings) so u would never know it had been there, and its easy enough to put on and off.

Thanks all, given me loads to think about.

Looks to me like the summers here - off work tomorrow so going riding!
