tank bags

OK had a Sertao for a few weeks now and I was wondering what tank bags you guys use and can recommend. Will be used for touring etc when solo and 2 up.

BMW expandable tank bag is great for touring. Comes with a waterproof cover but even in some serious all day rain, I haven't needed it. Little zip pocket at the back to keep change in for the peage etc. and a clear pocket on the top for a map.

Not cheap but does the job very well.

NB - this is assuming the G one is the same as the F.

Yeah have looked at one of them and I do quite like them. Also looked at the giant loop ones.

I have a Touratech one which you'll need the waterproof cover if it's heavy rain.............Had it on several F650GS's and it fits the G650GS no problem............!

Best thing is no faffing about taking it off to fill the tank!

I've got ghe full size BMW tank bag. It came with my RT and IMO it's far too big. Just gets in the way. Used it on my 1st European sortie a couple of years ago as I thought it would be handy to have somewhere to put the Euros for the Péages. Nowt but a nuisance, never again. And it wasn't waterproof either. I would, however, consider a smaller, flatter option.
