tank line fittings

I have removed the tank on my 1150 gs for the SE copy paintjob im currently doing and the lines (which dont have quick release gizmoes) came off the metal tubes quite easily. the clamps at the end of the rubber hoses are crimped BMW jobbies. Should i replace these? and has anyone a sugestion with what? i dont know how these are crimped at the factory. I could use jubilee clips i suppose on the thicker pipes, but what about the thin breathers? i cant see the pipes sealing well if i pulled them off so easily.
(serious answers only please. cant feck about with fuel, me mammy says)

Hi

Replace the crimped clamps with jubilee clips from your local motor parts store. Take a fuel pipe with you for sizing. If they were loose they have probably been leaking slightly. The breather pipes are not so important I think.
