Tank paint finish

Had the tank of my white aliminium GSA spared last year and noticed that the finsh is different to orginal paint finishes.
I was wondering does the original have a laquer coat on it which produced the "matt" look which the original tanks seem to have ?

When mine was sprayed no laquer top coat was added is this which is the diffence or is it something else ?

Do you mean it has been sprayed normal high gloss finish?
As far as I'm aware all two component pains including laquer can be mixed with a "matting agent", by varying the quantity anything from slightly off gloss right through to matt can be achieved.
