Hi All,

Am looking for a tankbag suitable for my commute. Just something for phone, wallet, ipod etc plus my work pass, which I need for getting into the office car park.

On my old bike I had a tiny magnetic bag with a top pocket, in which I kept the pass. When I got to the barrier, I could just pick up the whole bag from the tank with a gloved hand & wave it at the card reader. Would ideally like to achieve the same level of simplicity, but as the GS tank isn't going to work with magnets, has anyone got any other suggestions please?

Many thanks, Loo.

hein gericke did one with little suction cups. but i dont know if they still do it bud.

Lidl had the for sale recently in their bike stuff sale
Might be some left if you hurry

Around £12.00 - bargain and looked reasonable quality :)

Can certainly recommend the Lidl tank bag and the aldi one for that matter,

Actually I first used mine on my K75 for a trip to Prague

The K 75 has an alloy tank but I sandwiched some large washers between two layers of gaffer tape and attached them to the tank to give the magnets something to grab onto

Not the prettiest of solutions but it did the job and was only apparent when the full bag ( the lower layer is a map pocket and the upper layer unzips as a rucksack) was removed.
