Well, that's a surprise. GSA's out in the garage all packed for the Salopian this weekend and, whilst I could stick a bit more on somehow, I reckon I'm still going to have to use a knapsack.
Didn't expect that.
Lesson: I do need a tankbag after all.

Had a Famsa one for my K1200S which was the best bag I've ever owned. Minded to save up the pennies and get their GSA version, but if anyone has other advice pls say so.
Saw a TT one on fleaBay recently that looked okay too.
What's good?

Personally I'm not keen on the BMW GSA one though I have one. I reckon it encourages you to put too much stuff in it as it's massive! Then it moves around on the bike....

Bags connection do a nice one.

SW Motech Bags Connection, Gs tank bag.

Good piece of kit, well made, and once you get used to the positioning to line it up for fitting, easy to use. Only thing is no map pocket, but the do a good sized one that clips on bag.

I'm not absolutely sure cos I'm not a tankbag fan.....but I think BMW do a smaller version tank bag as an alternative for the larger one.

Of course I could be wrong.

FWIW I'm on my third tankbag, and only when I bit the bullet and bought the TT one did I get what I want.

It's good quality, has straps to use as a rucksack, and in the right size. It also unzips to expand to add in the stuff I've forgotten to fit in a pannier.

Pricey, but very worth it:thumb2

It appears I was wrong...:augie

...just had a look on the Motorrad accessories for the GSA, and they show a Large Tankbag and a Small Tankbag for the Gs, but just a Tankbag for the GSA.

Not sure if the smaller one would fit the adventure though, even though not made for it? :nenau
