Heh, likewise, however it wasn't my decision, the dealer had stuck it on there when I took delivery.

Unfortunately, the tight-wads had used some mickey-mouse thing made of sugar and soft cheese which disintegrated and fell off within 3k miles of typical British weather.

Have now replaced with a rubber-mounted, stainless-steel item from Ox'Prods.

Same here. After spending over 9k on a bike I would have expected something better than a bog standard holder made out of a recycled scooter frame;)

What with the combination of location and inferior disc holder my tax disc is already looking decidely watermarked only after a few months. Oh well at least it's an excuse to trawl the local bike dealers looking for a replacement:D

Off side pillion footrest

Or at least it was until today when I noticed some light fingered git has snapped off the holder and ferked orf with me disc.

The replacement is going under the seat !

Mine cost me far too much to flaunting it on the bike.
Got it in a nice little frame I picked up at Aldi, pride of place on the living room wall, next to the kid's school bus passes.

Christ, how much is it to tax a GS in the UK? It's CY£28 here, which I think is top for a bike, my sons 50cc Kymco is CY£6 a year:)

I keep a copy in my wallet as we've got a "scummy" element here that nicks them whenever possible:shoot:

Where do you mount yours??????????
Post some pics to show your ingenious places to mount the Tax holder.........
I want some inspiration

Hardly ingenious... but it is wrapped in clingfilm, backed by the previous 4 years discs and then lovingly bolted back up...

P.S. Yes it rained last night and the muck gets everywhere!
