Another view of this very tasty R90S special. Yamaha front forks and K100 triple tree as the Yanks say (radiused out by 1 mm). Standard R90S gearbox. The owner had a South of England accent and I think had ridden the bike from there. Although he might have been a local!
Cracking bike anyway.
Lots of other nice classic machinery ...
And even some classic riders? Is it my eyes or is this Mick Grant? Nah. Probably my eyes. Mick Grant's more likely to ride a Stena Stairlift these days?

thank goodness normal service is resumed later on a thocht a had gone intae the russian section

I did see the R90S though, and posted pics in the Airhead Section (see 'One for the Pureists'). Strangely it didn't get the howl of derision I thought it would attract
It sounded lovely . . but I'd prefer it in original trim (if you must hack a bike about - use an old dog of an R100, not a classic
).
No 170 is in the programme as Paul Lowther - not Mick Grant
I took over 800 photos - so I won't try posting action shots here

oh go on....I'm sure you could squeeze one or two on....
Didn't stop long Bob. Was on my way to Skye and decided to take the pretty rote to Fort Bill. Then I realised that the SSDT was on from the parking cones and spectators! Doh!
That R90s special was a cracker though! I didn't get to chat to the owner long but assumed it was a write off when he decided to use the bits.
Maybe someone kens who it is?
