Tele Atlas

Anyone any knowledge of Tele Atlas?
I currently have a 2720 for use on the bike, and also used to great effect in the car.
But I'm about to get a new (used) VW that will include a Tele Atlas Sat Nav system. I've never used it, how will it compare against my Garmin????

Don't visit Ireland.

TeleAtlas have only recently improved their maps for Ireland, so unless the device is spanking new, don't stray too far from Cumbria N54 45 53.0 W2 41 32.7. Should be fine otherwise. Can the maps on these devices be upgraded?
