Temperamental first gear

Hi folks,

I've only had my 1150gs (02) 3 days now but have noticed it sometimes plays funny buggers going into first

It happened again tonight at a set of rather busy traffic lights felt like a right rocking back n forward till it finally found it.

Any ideas, anyone else come across this

Yes, they all do that sir (well mine does)

Slowly let the clutch out while pressing down on the gear lever. It'll clunk into first gear.

Yep they all do that. Ease into gear with a little preload on the lever.,
