The last couple of times I have been to Coventry I have visited the most incredible (by UK standards) outdoor shop - "Go Outdoors" www.gooutdoors.co.uk

They bill their Coventry store as the biggest outdoor shop in the UK. They also have stores in t'north - Sheffield, Hathersage and Wakefield.

The Coventry store is HUGE - well worth a visit.

You name it, they stock it. I just bought some superb trainers with a vibram sole to replace the sadly missed North Face all terrain shoes of mine that just died.

Highly recommended.
