Has anyone on here got a Khyam Mckinley

I went to Highbridge caravan and camping last thursday to get a Khyam Biker but they had sold out, however they had a few Mckinleys left and one Eiger and an Igloo or two

Now the only differnence i can see is the Mckinley is slightly larger than the biker and does not have the poles for the canopy/side door

any feedback greatly appreciated

cheers Adrian

Don't have a McKinnley but have an older 2 man Khyam (not used for the bike holidays). Good kit but quite bulky and heavy. Brilliant if the weather is crap and you just want your tent up pronto.

I guess the McKinnley is one of the lighter ones

The difference is the biker has packs slightly smaller as it has shorter pole sections between joints.

I think.

Kyams.

Trippy is quite correct, the biker has shorter poles ansd packs a bit smaller.
We were all going for Mckinleys but thouight they'd be a bit long for the bike and low and behold great minds think alike and they brought out the biker. We've all had these now for a couple of seasons and find them exellent. The porch area is very useful for storing gear qand they also make a fitted ground sheet for these tents, recommended.

I knew the Mckinley was larger and the pack size was a little bigger the the Biker, but thanks for the replies

Got one, excellent tent, carried round Scotland for a week on the back of a ZX9r no problem, might be a little big for 2 up though but thats what I'm planning come August and Brno anyway:D
