Saw these on xmas eve in Tescos Thurrock....

256 meg Mp3 player for 9.79......

256 megs is about 80-100 tracks, or 4 or 5 album's worth......for under a tenner that's almost disposable :thumb

i was after a couple for Xmas gifts but they were all sold out in my local tesco and said they would be getting no more in :(

but a good buy if you can get one :thumb

They had bins and bins of them in Thurrock......shoulda bought some but I was already chancing it with 18 things in my basket at the 10 items or less till :D

Don'cha just hate it when people do that!!!! :D

Now £19.99

I see on the tesco website that the Technika DRM Compliant ML-2 256MB MP3 Player - (Black) is selling at £19.99.

Is this the one you were looking at Fanum? Even at that price I suppose it's still pretty good value.

Must take a run down to my local store to see if they have any.

You can also buy them online here

Nope, not Tecknica...some no-name Japanese or Taiwanese brand...TBH I didn't even see the name on the packaging :nenau

At a tenner though it doesn't matter :D

Got one for my lad, on Xmas eve, from the bigger Tesco branch 8 miles away, tried Tesco on line and the same one is £19.99, very limited stock now in the bigger stores, as I was going to get a couple for party presents for the boy.
very good value, works well :D

Just in from Banbridge Tuned. No luck there :( , but I will be in Craigavon and Lisburn tomorrow so will check them out.

Bought my lad a 512MB MP3 player with FM radio, 2 headphone jacks and voice recorder function for £19.99 on Amazon (+£4 p&p).

When it arrived I was pleasantly impressed - not an Ipod Nano, but 1/6 the price, so disposable in a teenager-like stylee! Wished I added another for me -will plug right into the Autocom, although you'd never be able to press any buttons on the move!

They've sold out of the particular one I got, but look here for others -

Hope it helps

Tuned, tried Portadown & Craigavon today, but no luck. Feck it. :(
thanks for the effort.... we always get stitched over here... like asda and lidl with more expensive prices for the same stuff :(

feck em :D

Like Bill, I also spotted a huge bin-load of these in tesco at Cheshunt - and also thought that at that price, you could consider them disposable!
