Test rides and what to look for?

Hi

I've got a couple of test rides booked for this saturday, an hour and a half each on an F800GS and an R1200GS.

I'm looking at a couple of 2nd hand bikes circa 2007 R12GS's and 2008 F800GS's.

Are there any things in particular I should be looking for or any major differences between the current models and the ones I'll be looking at?

Two different animals....

doing much two up? then go for the 1200 ( a bit more roomy)
Gentle off road stuff then go for the 800 (lighter)

Ride both and see what floats your boat

Not really looking for 2 up, but have a few long distance rides lined up for this summer.

Will be interesting to see how they compare to the Africa Twin I currently have.
