TF250-E and TF450-E

Fabulous day with Triumph today, I'm not used to Enduro bikes and was blowing and sweating after the first hour and my machine control was terrible After a while it started to click a bit more and felt a little more comfortable. The bikers were amazing but on the 250 1st is so snatchy I soon learnt to start from 2nd. Amazing suspension and the tyres just gripped as long as you were over the front. Its hilarious that it will just climb anything, and even if you stall you can get going again (with the risk that you launch the front wheel into the air). With Adventure bikes you often need momentum, but on the Enduro bikes it doesnt matter. Traction control was pretty helpful too.

I dont understand an activity where you are just sitting and standing can make you sweat so much 😆 .

The area Triumph has is amazing and they have a limitless supply of nadgery woods to pick your way through, the trees were far to close for my liking and was convinced I was going to launch the bike or me into a tree. I've learnt loads today, and its added to my indecision about what two wheeler I want to get next.

Every person I know who rides professionally and races runs a 350 with a linkage.
Not one uses a KTM with PDS unless it’s for MX.
Enduro, trails, sprints, etc - they’re all riding a 350 with a linkage. Ok, the odd one runs a full rally spec 500 but that’s for the “holy fooooooook” grin factor.

There will be some pottering but no racing :) so not sure I'd notice. I'm assuming the Husqvarna FE350 would have the linkage ?

Yup. Perfect trail bike. Engine is balanced to the chassis so you’re able to use 80% of the power, 80% of the time without stressing it at all.
Sherco is a very good alternative too. Their 350 is spot on.
