I'm back on British soil now and was wondering if we should start organizing our Christmas Do at some point pretty soon...

Given we still get a booking in at such short notice, I'd suggest the following dates:

Thursday 11th December
or
Tuesday 16th December

Venue-wise, I read that the Chequers at Berrick Salome is under new management (but I forgot to ask Possu if he actually went for a test meal... We may do this at the weekend).

Could you please let me know your preferences for date and place ASAP?

Mmm, I started this thread without knowing about the welcome home-dinner that Ilse had organised behind my back for last Thursday...

So I'm no longer pursuing another UKGSer meeting this month, as Possu and I can't do either of the suggested dates anymore - but please feel free to take over.
