Just made it home after a brilliant week exploring Wales for the first time. Fantastic weather, great roads and and altogether first class week.
Nice to meet you all at the Abercrave Inn - thanks for the hospitality .
My TKC80s didn't make it back to Belgium. Close inpsection on the Channel Tunnel revealed worrying signs of canvas thread appearing through the rubber so as soon as I got off the train at Calais it was off to search for a new rear tyre. Needless to say I couldn't find a TKC80 for love or money so a very freindly Yamaha dealer fitted a new Michelin Anakee for me and I headed off home the last 200km with a TKC80 on the front and an Anakee on the back......actually it felt pretty OK but that was in warm dry conditions.
Thanks again everyone who helped me with sorting out some good places to visit and especilly to Durnsey and his missus for their hospitality .
PS Is it true the weather is always like that in Wales
