Oh yes that epic journey you all know so well.:augie

I decided to take a bit of a detour on my way to work this morning which included about 1 mile of green lane. I've cycled along it before but never taken the big girl, Yeah she's wearing Tourance's but hey how bad could it be?

The further I went the more slippery it became until the inevitable happens.............I slide off the track and into a field. I tried keeping a bit of momentum and get back up onto the track but I've got absolutely no traction

Down she went.........it's the first time I've dropped her and hopefully it'll be the very last time I have to pick her up again!:eek

It took me about an hour to get to the end of the trail and back onto tarmac................ Hot and bloody dripping with sweat!!

Crikey that is indeed very stuck!

Things i will avoid next time..............

30 litres of fuel on board
Fully loaded top box
leaving the thermal liners in both my jacket and trousers
Wearing a shirt and tie underneath!

A great effort and a good warning to the rest of us:thumb I thought it was brave to do it on your own, even braver to attempt it on your way to work!

The man that never made a mistake is the man that never made anything:thumb2
