The moronic mods on that forum where you cant mention cars are having a langer cull this weekend. Anyone from Cork is now in buswalds just for being from or associated with Cork. Just in case anyone is wondering why they've been bussied. I, personally am wondering why I bother with that shower at all.:augie
 
admin is a neighbour of mine and his sister used to work with me.i know most of the mods pretty well
while the site has some good information,tech help and event information there is a huge amount of messing (for want of a better word)goes on on that site,
a lot of the long time members are on the site to mess,slag and insult each other,
i got bussies twice, once for spelling mistakes (i was half cut at the time) and once because i asked for details of a mods relation who has i bussiness i wanted to contact,
if you want a serious or perhaps proper site that one is not the one for you.
if you want a site with lots of messing,slagging and people on power trips (happens everywhere)do your time and wait the chance to get your own back:augie:augie

I hate that site with a passion. There's a few lads there think it's cool to use "text speak" or whatever. Christ it bugs me. They must be about 14. Takes 3 times as long to read the posts.

It also gets on my tits the same old posts:

- Can I ride my bike in the UK on a provisional, get told no, but then go and do it anyway thinking they are cool.
- How to get away with riding a more powerful bike than what they are allowed to (still within the 2 year restriction).
- "Yippee I just passed my test". Like I really give a ****.

It's full of retards and I just get annoyed at the thought of it.

Irishbikerforum.com is a bit more intelligent but not much activity.
 
Ya, it's not for the faint hearted or the thin skinned, thats for sure. I have the hang of the place now alright. Most of the langers are taking it in good spirit, although some of the newer ones are getting a bit upset.
 
I spent an idle hour this morning looking around the jockeyjournal ( yank custom bike forum ). Some good arguments there too. Fella's slagging each others welding techniques. World wide phenomenon I reckon.

I got bared for life because I got a pain in the backside with the lot of them and told them all,:D my son agreed with what I said and got bared too because he had the same name but he got let back after two weeks lucky him haha:thumb2
 
sounds like the moaners club forum the mod on there is a complete twat you cant critisize the mods or the commitee on the forum it has to be done at a commitee meeting el presidente made that a rule to stifle critizism of any thing to do with the running of the club on open forum,
if the herd of sheep that carefully post on there dont like a post they demand that it is locked they are a bunch of luddites that are scared of twentyfirst century communications only time will improve it if the moaners club is not extinct by then old bht and the other mods on here are not so bad.

ah well forum is for crowd lads who just good friends as load people who join get banned.

mate mine got banned for life as he gave lad help with a bike tha was not what the mod said he should do as he got pissed off

Biker.ie and it's Not the site for me, IBF was the first forum I got involved in, untill you told me about here, the rest is history.:D

Yeah I was one of the first to register on ibf but it's very quiet especially in the adventure bike section.
