What’s all the noise about?
Over recent years we have seen an alarming, yet, nonetheless increasing trend towards the use of car oils in motorcycles. Car oils are blended to perform in a significantly different environment to those encountered by modern motorcycle engines, and have been found to be the route cause of several engine related problems, including ‘clutch slip’, ‘cam lobe pitting’ and excessive gear train wear.

As manufacturer’s concerns grow, Putoline have responded quickly to solve this problem by developing a new generation of ‘pure bike’ four stroke engine oils utilising their revolutionary Technomoto additive system.
Available in five exclusive formulas, Putoline Technomoto Four Stroke Oil is one of the most advanced in the world.
SO, THERE YOU ARE???? OR :beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:You could use this:beer::beer:

The BMW engine is made of the same stuff as most car engines. Pistons go up and down, cams go round and round etc. The only difference is the oil needs to be a higher viscosity (thicker) in the old bm because of the lazy oil pressure cam chain tension-er. The clutch is "dry", the gearbox & FD have there own oil so apart from that "car" oil is fine.:thumb I think:D
