Hi

Have just got new tires on the adventure. It is Metz Tourenza Next. But now the bike shake the front wheel and thus, the handlebar. It is not up and down but from side to side. It is worst at app. 55 MPH. As I got the tires fitted on a vacation in Germany, I cannot just go back and have them re-balanced.

So: Is it (just) a question of re-balancing the tires or could it be something else? There was no shaking with the old tires.

As mentioned it may be the tyre, have you spun the wheel while on the main stand to check for any run out, ?

it could also be the rear so check both, my guess is they need to be balanced again

Had a similar one a few years back (with a front Trail Attack), it wouldn't balance up correctly but still caused head shakes .............. it was a duff tyre

A little shake or viberation at the bars is either the wheel or tyre balance needs to be checked.
Violent shake then there is something seriously wrong.

It is not a serious shake but I will talk to a garage to get the tires balanced. Thank you for your comments.

Yes get the balance checked again. Could be a faulty tyre, I had a brand new Michelin PR4 that was faulty and caused a wobble on the front end. The tyre company had to get another one.
