A big thumbs up for the Bull Inn in West Tanfield. Nice decor, good food, a spacious beer garden (well, it will be in the summer, now it is a little snowy), and the staff pleasant. And they were not put out by my being a little mucky after a riding through the very snowy Dales (and the odd field near Middleham castle
