Hi all
Have just bought a 1150gs 2001 model. It appears to have the bigger Adveture screen fitted. As im six two tall its still like riding in a gale @ wind noise with visor down is bl***y painfull. I know this is subjective cos different screens suit different riders. However i assume a higher screen would help ?. Any suggestions would help.

Also are the gs and adv screens only difference that the std screen has a slot for adjustment

The standard GS screen is a lot shorter than the Adventure, but it does have 3 different setting positions, where as the Adventure is fixed at one position.

I'm the same height as you and ride with the adventure screen and torbinators. But I still get the wind buffet around the head at 70mph plus. I have just recently fitted the Xcreen flap (MRA) to the top of my adventure screen and it seems to have cured a lot of the buffeting. All this faffing about doesn't come cheap.

I'm thinking of the Vsteam by Ztechnik which comes highly rated and there are videos on youtube, but at £300 it's not cheap either.

Plugging for the MRA might be an option worth trying.
