NAV RALLY

On the 1st of January (yes, New Years Day:rolleyes:) we will be having our first Nav Rally. The starting point will be Cashel at 9:30am (exact location will be posted later) and the event will involve 5 hours of riding and a 1 hour forced stop for lunch in Dundrum, Co Tipperary, this hour can be taken when ever you want within the 5 hours. There will be both road and off-road points to get to but there will be enough road points that anyone wishing to complete it on tarmac alone may do so, details of the appropriate maps will be posted later or they may be supplied as a start-pack along with the coordinates.

While there is no entry fee for this event, there will be an opportunity to put a few quid in the hat which will be given to a charity, nice touch Phil. :thumb

This event is for a bit of craic and is most certainly not a race, more info will be posted in due course.

For a flavour of this kind of event click the annoying little git at the bottom of this post.

So who's up for it ?

That'd be right, I buy them & you 'mind' them :blast I've just spoken to they guys I normally buy my maps from & they have a couple in stock @ €9. If anyone wants me to pick them one up when I go to collect mine let me know before Friday morning :thumb2

 But it would appear that mine is in my house & Daithi's is in his house
(in case anyone thought the Langer was a serial map snatcher )
And I apologise for tarnishing his good reputation.
Fixed !:upyou
