Well put together YouTube videos of fantastic roads in Italy, some food for thought for routes in the Dolomites and Italian lakes.

Thank you , that’s my next trip . I’ve been saving waypoints watching Leonoor on her DX , but the list above has a few extra .

Never done the Dolomites although i have been to the lakes. The scenery is staggering in these videos so i am very keen to go.
Looks more impressive than the Picos or Pyrenees.

Here you go part 3 which includes LeadFarmer's Italian Job, Col Del Nivolet, the film also gets a mention, which looks stunning

Whilst driving through the Dolomites, we always put Matt Munro on.........On Days Like These....

Just watched the series . I must say that those Italian TET trails look much easier than trails here with my local TRF.
That said the series awesome and the astonishing scenery gripping .

These two Latvians have inspired me . Colle de Sommeiller, Forte Jafferau , Gallereia Saraceni are on my ‘to do list ‘ . I first watched the Got2Go girl riding them on her T700 .
I watched a guy riding his GS1300 up in snow , yesterday ;

So can be done on a big panzer , although I consider a T700 or DX preferable
Anybody done these three rides ?

Here you go, if anyone's still interested. Part 4 and finale 5. Part 4 I found less interesting but some more stunning passes in part 5 and great advice at the end of part 5 for anyone planning the TET route next year.

TET summary advice

Had pretty much settled on returning to Norway next summer. But I think it will be Swiss, Italian and French alps instead. Fancy a bit of 'softroading' thrown into the mix so I'll make sure to indulge in some of those gravel trails. They'll need to be easy enough though, as I'll be two up for the most part. Boing boing here we go! 😊

Personally I prefer the Alps and Dolomites to the Pyrenees, some fantastic roads and scenery in France, Italy and Austria

Me too.
I loved the Picos last year but also they are a fairly limited area.

I saw the video OP posted (thanks by the way :) ) and I'm planning to do the easy offroad version of the Dolomites.

Done the Dolomites a few times on tarmac of course, just one word of advice, during summer it is packed.
That's why I prefer the Alpes-Maritimes, anyway western area as there is generally less people.

Yeah thinking similar to both of you, mainly tarmac maybe some easy gravel passes next year, also have to plan the ideal time maybe early September.

Yep - same.
I've done some gravel/stone stuff on the Alps before.

I'd have to keep it fairly "easy" both because of lack of talent :D on my side and also, not sure I want to do a trip that long on TKC80s (that I use offroad on the GSA) as I know myself and I'm partial to a few nice corners on tarmac :D :D :D

Again, thanks for sharing the videos!
