Looks like a well sorted bike-nothing left to do but ride it then?

Is this for your TAT trip in a few months?

Hi Gaz,

Good catch - I was on holiday and due to see that on the 19th :blast Seemed ideal for a forthcoming jaunt around South America.

I'm gutted that it is as good as it seemed. Enjoy!

I`m selling the 690 that it has replaced if you are interested mate?????

I wouldnt call the replies interesting, I would call them typical of this site.

I certainly won`t be losing sleep about them.

Yes it has been ridden in a couple of rallies and I intend to ride it in a couple more.

Having met the seller and spent a good couple of hours with him you realise he is a fanatic about maintenance and although he uses his bikes as intended he certainly knows how to look after them.

Give me a bike thats been ridden as intended and proved to be capable of being pushed hard rather than a show piece pampered garage borne thing any day:thumb2

A day on the lanes tmrw in the IOM and I should know a bit more.

Enjoy, i'm sure you'll have a great time and the right man for the job:thumb2

Indeed, any pampered machine deserves to be left alone in my book, Id buy a well used and well maintained bike over a hangar queen any day of the week.:rob

Having said that my GSA is always totally immaculate and spends many a happy hour being cleaned by myself:augie

Have a good time Gary, give the KTM some big licks over there :thumb

Is this the same 690 you took to Bakerman's Salisbury Plain ride on 30th December, look a bit different.

I have pics of the bike you rode that day but it's a bit hard to compare it for some reason. :D

Yep all forums do attract what I call “keyboard warriors” who would be better off getting there bikes looking like there “used to the full” but end you with keyboards that are used to the full :D

Louis

Meow........

...all I said was check it out thoroughly and knowing Gazz he would anyway and to be fair, the guy said he was always in the garage prepping it

Why do they sticker them up like a 5 year olds BMX though :nenau
