The motorcycle show at London ExCeL 14-16 February 2014

Be sure to check out the Adventure Bike Shop stall feat. (as my son would say) AltRider over from Seattle.

I hear it will show a pretty tasty 2014MY R1200GS in white kitted with the product of Team AltRider....

Will they be selling stuff, or just showing it?

Bike is being kitted out with the AltRider products today/tomorrow I guess (I delivered it to the Adventure Bike Shop on Saturday in good time and to allow a spruce-up) and, as far as I'm aware, will show-off the new AltRider kit for sale at the show either for sale & hand-over there or swift despatch by Adventure Bike Shop who seem (pleasingly) to always be able to get stuff in/out the very next day.

Which is nice.

Anyway, more importantly (perhaps)....

Herewith the bike, fully laden in AltRider products (right nice too so they are) and taking pride of place on the AltRider stand.

Impressive level of precision, proper bling.

Just got back to club in London.
Utter rubbish.

2 hours and done. Nothing of interest. Spent most time trying to send my dad pics of BSA Rocket on sale for £13k to replace one he sold for £170 (a few years ago admittedly - 53:) )and then trying my mate in an XL and L Badlands Pro jacket lol

Bought a white Neotec. Happy with that. Other than that I was quite disappointed....

Had a good late lunch at Goodmans on Maddox Street. Best part of the day for me!

Amazed an out of towner like you know about this place. It was my favourite steak place but trumped by Hawksmoor because its easier to get a table :D

Great choice. Very macho.

I'm a "get the bus" man :(

I went yesterday. It was heaving but worth the trip. One or two really cool models (and some nice new bikes too).

Mainly I went to look at and sit on three bikes - New RT; New VFR 800; New Z1000SX.

New RT looks like the old RT dressed up as a Trophy. New VFR 800 looks like a much more boring version of the previous one. Z1000SX is very GREEN and has the ugliest mirrors I've ever seen on a bike - and the exhaust ain't too neat either.

By way of compensation for my disappointments, I negotiated a great deal on some new Keis heated gloves, only to get home and discover a fault in one of them.

Still, at least I didn't waste the day...

Oh - I nearly forgot. CCM 450 adventure bike - looks seriously cool and feels great to sit on and obviously built for serious trips. Definitely one for a test ride if they ever get a dealer anywhere further south than Bolton...
