The new Apple Macbook Pro

Anyone bought one of the new Macbook Pros yet? I have a 7 year old, 15" Macbook Pro that I fear is on its last legs and am quite taken with the new machines.

I would probably go for the 13" with Retina screen.

Any opinions/advice on any of the optional upgrades available?

I am doing the same. I have a 2009 MacBook which is still good but no-where near as good as this...

I think i'll go for the 13" with retina display, only thing i might add is more memory, upgrade to 8gb makes the machine £1179. Lot of money to pay for a laptop I know but they are good......

Been looking around to see if i can get a deal somewhere, no joy....

I have a 2012 mbp with retina display. Bought the top of the line one. And it's awesome. I can get a little bit slow editing gopro videos but apart from that it's flawless

My sister went in to Apple last week to get a Macbook Air, came out with a 13" Retina Macbook Pro for the same price. She is bowled over by the startup speed, graphics quality, feel, everything really. Blows my 5yr old 17" Pro out of the water.
