The next East Anglia day out

From one who definitely did NOT do any wading, also had a great day, and got home safely.Sorry I missed Cormick's antics !
Met up with Engineer(Will), Pete and Mark OK in West Acre, and did a couple of tiny little lanes ourselves !

Chad -keep me posted re Rugged Roads Rack...

all the best, and thanks Noddy..

Hope to make the next one too.

Yes good day out - me, Pete and Mark took a ride down to the beach, kicked the sand around while talking bollox about bikes etc - by the time we got back the main group had bu**ered off!

So we headed back via Castle Acre; stood around and talked more bollox :D then tracked down Roger in West Acre and then made a little progress following Pete on the way back.

Good to put a few faces to names - well worth doing again.

Just wished that we had seen the entertainment that Noddy organised at the ford - shrewd fellow that Noddy making sure that he had 'road tyres' :D

Wheres the air intake on an 1150 ?
Im sure mine would have turned into the hunt for red october, the air intake is below the tank
its all about the bow wave:confused: mind you i was just wondering where it was on the 1200 in comparison to the 1150:confused:

Ive just have a goosy through the for sale section and its in the same place:eek:
Having had another look at Cormicks photo you can just make out the tops of the cylinder heads though so it would have been okay. Mind you i still would have let him go first:augie

Whats the worst that can happen...oh yea the bike sinks like a stone and I have a larger bill than Sunday!

Brill fun and will be doing it again...might bring my water wings too knowing me!! Will make sure you go first next time Tony...:D

Any ideas on the next one? Seems like the place to go is west we've done the other compass points...how about a over night venture so we can stretch the legs :blagblah:blagblah

I guess that would be for debate but how far would anyone want to ride and what route would be good fun before everyone called it a day?

...how long is a piece of string...not sure but 200 miles + would be a good way to get things started, of course 200 miles on main roads is not long in terms of time but on back roads would take a little longer...also there the thing about finding a place to stay, would anyone be up for camping or hotel? Personally I would camp but staying in a cheap B & B is easier, just depends how many are up for the ride?

All food for thought but it would be good fun...ideas welcome? But going on the turn outs we've had I think we could muster a fair few tossers and it would be good to meet up with a few other clans along the way :thumb
