Its not that far from me but i've never been.
So next weekend i'm off for a bimble around there. Want to get as much of it done as possible plus all those lovely bendy and undulating side roads that the weekend warriors probably keep away from.
This will be the first weekend trip away on the GS.

You were obviously on the wrong roads then, there are loads of brill back whacks to enjoy.

True , but I have to travel a lot of the major routes around the Peaks during my working day and some of them could be (were ) great roads too .....except for the blanket 50mph speed limit

Dont worry they will soon be blanket 40 limits with 20 in the villages. Nanny state rules.
