A shark yesterday in the Ouze

And yesterday also, Rosie and some other dog walkers were watching a snake swimming in the sea here at Harwich

The local wildlife anorak saw it as well and thought it was a grass snake, which apparently do like to go for a dip on a hot day :nenau

Don't panic, I'm sure some hillbilly merkin will be along shortly with an assault rifle or bag full of hand grenades to dispatch the creature as this seems to be their first instinct when confronted with any form of nature that is unusual or seemingly out of place (see yesterday's story about oversize crocodiles being 'taken out' for daring to inhabit the same planet as these redneck freaks).

Ever thought about switching to decaff? :eek

With the amount of polyester clad footie shirt wearing rosy red knobber brits I saw in Florida last week, I can only assume the shark was from those parts and fancied a break and headed east:)
