Last week I dropped of my 2610 which was continually turning itself on and off - rebooting if you like.

Today, through the post, came a brand new unit! Albeit without all the other stuff in the box, but with a link to some new software.

I'm much impressed, especially as the case on my other unit had gained a few marks during my ownership.

They also sent me a new 2610 last week when the USB port packed up
That makes it the third 2610 I have had not terribly impressed with their reliability. This one seems ok though.
Fundamentally impressed with Garmin though:thumb

Hi all,

My 2820 and bike mount took quite a pounding on my recent off-road excursion to Morocco.

The unit and mount needs to go back to Garmin to be sorted - can anyone point me to the corect phone/email link other than the number on the Garmin UK site? or is this the way to go.

Thanks, Rick.

Rick, you could try www.brokenbling.com
but then you probably already know about them:D

One thig Garmin does tell you is that if you sell your GPS unit you should deregiter it so that the new owner can register it without problem (speaking for ongoing eperience)
