Beth and I have Keis heated waistcoats bought around 2 yrs back. A heated panel in hers failed last month and was replaced FOC despite being out of warranty.

Fair enough maybe.

We also had a problem with temp controllers switching themselves off or blowing fuses.

Also well out of warranty, so I emailed asking to replace hers ( quite happy to pay ) and said I would not bother replacing mine as it works perfectly well without the controller, which in fairness it does. ( Toasty )
:)

Emailed me today - I'd ordered and paid for the controller and a short extension lead - they are sending 2 BRAND NEW redesigned controllers FOC.

I haven't had customer support like that for a very long time - if ever.

Lesa is the very helpful girl who dealt with our order.

I too have nothing but praise for Motohaus.

I used my Keis heated waistcoat, purchased in Jan 2009, last Sunday and noticed it wasn't working. When I connected the battery pack ond switched on, nothing happened. I checked the battery but it was fully charged. Feeling the wires which hook up to the heated pads I was able to tell that at least one had come away. I emailed Keis immediately and asked if a repair was possible as it was way out of warranty. I had a reply on Monday asking me to send it back. This I did on Tuesday. This morning I received back a brand new waistcoat along with a handwritten note to say that it was obvious from inspection the jacket had been well looked after and they apologised for it's failure. It's the latest version too with the connecter sockets for heated gloves.

What fantastic service. :clap

I have also received excellent service from Motohaus.
I had problems with the controller unit on my Keis vest and contacted Motohaus.
Despite being out of warranty (and supplied by a large London Dealership who wasted my time), I received a new unit FOC from Motohaus the following day.
No connection to them-just a very satisfied customer.
