wot a bloody fool, hope this prevents another bloody fool wasting as much time as I did.
replaced throttle cables, no problems (wot a difference), in process, slipped and pulled right hand throttle , breaking heated grip wire (1 hour later after walk to shop for a soldering iron) + 1 hour to resolder (bastard job) all was well.

Pressed starter - nothing, fuel pump worked, traced sidestand switch, checked fuses, removed tank again to check wiring. Nowt, wouldnt start.


Noticed neutral light wasnt on, need I go further.
