Well Kev, I'm a little concerned about the knitting group, it seems somewhat fragmented!
I'm not sure, but I think Mutter's and Abrasion have started a renegade group and are meeting at a secret location somewhere in the east of the county, don't hold me to this, I could be wrong it may be the north
Last weekend Chris was spotted by one of my surveillance operatives at an old folks home near Numptieville (AKA Bromsgrove) They were seen sporting prototype needles and patterns that were extremely complex. We've seen nothing like it before
Alan has lost complete control of the situation and is believed to be resigning from his role as chairman of the 'cross stitch and knitters federation' This will be a very sad loss indeed if he does, a very well respected and creative 'cross stitcher'
Personally, I blame Chris (Abrasion)
It all started when he brought along a cross stitched 1150GSA to the monthly meet, never been the same since
Sorry to go on like this, but it's sad that these good old patterns and basic skills are being undermined and lost due to the attitudes of people like Chris and Howard.
When will they realise that their high tech equipment and modern ideas are not the way forward
They'll be changing the way we do Morris dancing soon, and I'm not dancing around their little poles that's for sure
