Tiscali are now preventing users from logging on to peer to peer type programs other than at outlandish times when I'm tucked up in bed I.E. Limewire, anyone got any suggestions for other programs, I've used a bit torrent program in the past but I'm not very familiar with them, anyone recommend something that's user freindly I can use without filling the PC with spyware etc. I don't mind buying a full version if it's not exorbitant.

As Bill says, Azureus is fine. I've got it on my laptop.

On the desktop I have ABC which is a very thin client based on BitTornado.

For P2P I occasionally use Shareaza which seems to work fine using my ISP (Virgin). Shareza logs onto several P2P networks (Edonkey & Limewire being just 2 of them). Changing the ports used from the defaults might confuse your ISP. Shareaza will do torrents too (I prefer ABC as it uses fewer resources and allows me to keep UKNova TV stuff separate from the "other stuff")

My ISP is going through a transition phase where everyone is being put on "unlimited" downloads with a "user policy". This is a snidey way of saying "we are going to throttle your bandwidth as much as we like if our servers start to melt". I only pay £15 a month so I'm not expecting a great deal from them anyway.
