I know it's been asked before, but I'm looking for the latest feedback.

I'm gonna need to put a new set of Tourances on my 1200 next week. I don't currently have a car, so I prefer roll-in service. Who do you all currently recommend in the general SW London area. I'm guessing that BMW isn't he best choice for either cost or convenience.

I commute down to Basingstoke so so a good shop in that area could be an option as well.

thanks

If you commute to Basingstoke why not pop down the A33 to Micheldever Station? They do a ride in- ride out service and have some of the lowest prices going.

So, that's Micheldever Tyres at Micheldever Station, about 10 - 15 miles from Basingstoke.

I'm happy with Micheldever as well.

Special bike tyre fitting bay, always been the same two blokes fitting the bike tyres as well, which gives me confidence.

I will also recommend Micheldever Tyre Co. The two guys that fit the bike tyres are excellent, they take care in what they do and are very knowledgeable.

As for tyres I recommend the Avon Distansia's. They have deep treads, last for ages (9 to 10 thousand miles) and nicely priced at £168 fitted. That was when I bought them last year.

I assume you all are talking about these guys: http://www.protyrefareham.co.uk/

If so I'll give them a call tomrrow......with so many recomendations...I'm afraid I'd be banned from ever asking a question here agains, if I didn't at least do that ;)

must give a nod towards the Avon distanzias too, they are really grippy i get the sidestand down anytime i like, and they last for ever! im about to order my second set today, plenty of feedback from the road, confident in the wet too. one of the few tyres where the front has lasted equally as well as the rear and i dont feel sick replacing the front due to it not being worn enough.

10/10

Called Micheldever Station yesterday about some Tourances. The good news is they have plenty of rears. The bad news; got a back order for 100 front tyres outstanding and no indication of arrival.
