TKC80 tires. How much may I improve the 12GS in OFF?

Hello, I need your opinion about TKC80.

How much TKC80 tires may improve the handling, felling with the bike, security... Driving off road respect to anakee or tourance?


I'm thinking for a tour in Marocco this year and I need to chose the right tires. I 've already excludere Karoo2 (low mileage with Karoo).

Night and day difference in the offroad realm.. They are also great for street. Lots of people on my side of the pond run them year round on and off road.. Seriously though for offroad they are the way to go over Anks..
 
Get the TKCs very good off and suprisingly good on road.
The only problem is that the rear can wear out quickly if you ride hard.
 
Compared to Tourances, TKC80s initially feel peculiar--they have a sharper profile and the knobbles make the bike feel as if it's still in gear as you come to a halt. Once you get used to the effects, handling is suprisingly good and I ride on them all the time.

However... I wouldn't discount Tourances for Morocco. They are better on surfaced roads and quite capable of handling the typical piste conditions. When we followed the Dakar in January, Steve (Activmoto) was the only one on Tourances and unlike most of us didn't come off.
