Thailand is a great place for a bike trip, especially in the North, we have been on the Mea Hon Son loop, 700+ km & 1800 bends, and a loop through the Golden Triangle following the Mekong, both from Chang Mai, roads in very good condition and well maintained, used Tony’s big bikes in Chang Mia who will rent a bike or sign you up for a tour. Combine it with a trip on the night train from Bangkok and followed by a week on a beach.

Somehow I doubt Jonny will get it back to Ireland. However importation might differ from the UK - could have a bbk fitted by Eddie’s mechanic with a compatible exhaust etc and who would know it wasn’t all original!
