Well since owning my new GS now for a few weeks, i've surprisingly managed to carry out various small mods and do a small service myself , mainly due to the information on this site. :beerjug:

Sadly now i'm fairly sure that my knowledge and confidence may have reached a peak.

I've recently received my new MRA vario screen and a set of Tobinators.

Is there anyone close by who can give me a hand fitting these. I,ve looked at the instructions and i've headache

I,ve obviously come to you !
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Tobinators

I have the same system and it was easy to set up so a few questions.

1. Have you the correct tobinator pack for your bike / screen ?

2. If it was 2nd hand purchase have you all the correct spacers / pieces?

Plenty of Tossers live near you, so I'm sure help will be at hand.

Best of luck.

Dave.

If you want a ride over the border tomorrow afternoon I'm off the A5 near Hinckley and have that set up on mine.

This should help...

Cheers Mike O . I,m hoping to pop across to shapeshifter later in the week , if not i'll just have to give it a go

There really isn't a lot to get wrong here - however if you do need help I'm just down the M1 in Redbourn and would be happy to help out. I've been running an MRA and tobinators for ages and as far as I'm concerned it's the best possible combination.

Let me know and good luck:thumby:

How much setting-up did this require? I currently have the MRA sans Tobbinators. It might be better than standard, but by no means brilliant / effective.

I run the MRA bottom half of the screen with the top part removed. Tobinators are set to the most upright position and peak removed from MX helmet. Works perfectly for me - but then YMMV!

Looks like this................

The Wunderlich screen & Tobinators from my old 1150GS.
Worked perfectly for me, visor-up riding in practically all weather conditions with no buffering whatsoever.
