I have a 1150 GSA and am experiencing buffeting at higher speeds. What is the best solution? Tobinators or a screen deflector. Opinions please?

I've not tried the wind deflector but torbs worked for me with the screen back as far as it would go. Basically this puts your head into clear air so a bit noisier but at least I can see!:thumb2

Tobinators

Thanks guys, I suspected as much. They are just a bit expensive and I've never seen then second hand.

the only time peeps get rid of them is when the sell on their bikes, they worked a treat for me as a 6ft7" i tend to sit in the breeze:blast

they are a worthwhile investment:thumb2

I have a wonderlich screen extender on mine - not had any problems either. Ultimately they all do the same job, just depends on budget and style.

Well I've bought and fitted the tobinators and want a bit of advice on how to adjust them. The starting position suggested means that my handlebars hit the screen on full lock. I'm 6 foot tall. ~ Any one of similar size like to post a couple of pictures of their 1150 GSA with a good position to put the screen in. All help gratefully received.

me 6ft7" and this is perfect for me:thumb2

scuse the pics just taken on iphone:augie:D i also have my bars raised 70mm andf the dont hit the screen

I fitted Tobinators to my 1150 Adventure very early on and they were a huge improvement, one of the truly worth while things to add to a GS :thumb2

Thanks Chad, looking at your photos I've pretty much arrive at the same position, I'll keep fiddling. Initial rides seem encouraging. I suspect I'll be fine tuning for a while now.
Cheers
