. . crested the Reek in bright sunshine. Couldn't get under the carpark barrier in the Disco.

This has to be some kinda southern,, coded message ? .
Is there any chance of it being de-ciphered ? .
Does it involve money ? .

I know exactly what he's meaning but that's not always the case.

He climbed Croagh Patrick and his Land Rover was too tall to fit under the car park barrier - the one that's designed to keep bus drivers out.
I don't think money is involved yet but Mayo Co Co are talking about putting a charge on that car park.
Any other questions?

I hope the Disco / Barrier lesson was not learned the hard way? Had a roof-box on a merc a few years ago, by God you had to watch out.
Love the Reek, done it twice, in the '60s and in the '90s

WOULD LIKE TO . .

. .climb at night (wi headtorch?) and see the sunrise from the summit. Any takers? Don't all rush !

Today I mostly went for a great walk on Mt Brandon - no photos.

I remember labouring up with my two kids. We were surprised to find two guys there with a mixer building a jacks! Would have had good drainage anyhow.
