Well done, the both of youz....:thumb2

The highest folk in the UK...briefly....:D

She doesn't look to be the happiest to have done that:D

More than once she said "dad, we could have gone for a run on the bike.":augie
Mike, it was getting embarrassing telling folk on a daily basis about the hill and I haven’t been up there in about 10 years.
We’ll always remember what we did on her 16th birthday.
My knee is starting to stiffen, best get some lubrication :beerjug:

Well done both of you. (and I'm not talking about yer knees!) :thumb2

Average time is 6 / 8 hours. Which we managed. 4 n a 1/2 up and 2 n a 1/2 back down. Its a slog and the weather has a habit of closing in on you very quickly. We didnt go with any target time, just wanted to tick it off and it was good to mark her birthday. I should be at the Inn most of Saturday, Ill put the fire on :D

she seems very similar to you!
Tash, Kathleen has been telling her for the last 10 years or so that she will grow out of it :nenau :blast

Well done GC, It looks fab, we were camping at the bottom a couple of months ago, but had the kids with us so we couldn't do the walk. Someone said it was wrong to leave them in the carpark while you climb munros

Colin, let us know how you get on !

Deb.

Hi Deb,

Well it took 10 hrs all in all, including 1hr hr watching some nutters throwing themselves off the side with just kites to hold themselves up, and 1 hr in G.C.'s boozer:D for the last 2-3 miles I kep't thinking the pub was just around the next corner:blast To be honest it wasn't that great a climb,it was so busy, if you just listened to the accents you would have thought you were in the south of england somewhere:eek:.It was a real grind but we were chuft to have made it and ticked it off the list. We spend this morning sussing out our next one over there which should prove a better walk.

PS nice to meet you Gordon, hope everything went ok with the prizegiving etc. You seemed like you had a busy evening in front of you;)

Back at ya Col :thumb
It was a busy night, got finished just before 1 am, got home, looking forward to watching the rugby, I didn’t know the score, chatted to my wife for a while then she said she was heading to bed, here, have the remote, and said ”its good Scotland won tonight isn’t it.” :blast:blast:blast
Yir right about the Ben, going up the track is just a case of slogging it out. And it does get really busy.
Next time we meet will be on the bikes ok :thumb2
