Bike wearing Shite Bag and Muffs

6 am. Freezing fog. My breath was hitting the visor and turning to Ice (Schuberth J1), ice so thick I couldn't scrape it off whilst wearing my (Rukka) gloves. Had to ride with the visor open.

And I was boiling !

After 20 mins had to stop and take off the Yeti Jacket - an hour later, I was still too hot.

Heated clothing... 1 base layer underneath (top and troos).. maybe a cashmere jumper under the heated jacket, thinslate layer with a pro shell layer. Heated soles with thin cotton socks.

If its *really* cold replace the thinslate layer in the troos with heated liners, mmmm heated knees, luxury.

Tsk.. no Rohan undercrackers..

Heated clothing...

I had the Chilli Heated jacket in the pannier for emergencies - but I can't feed the lead out through the oversuit, and frankly, I am happier without it.

Tsk.. no Rohan undercrackers..

Briefs are Rohan. Surely that goes without saying? Would never wear anything else. X-Static on the day as I find them marginally more comfortable than the Cool Silver's that would be my second choice under all the other kit.
