Found a SE that I like a lot at Tom Conway and a quick google seach unearthed this thread where Shaunie refers to him a "Tom The Con"

http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=132380

But another thread found says he did a great job on a service....

Bike I'm diggin is this:

Anyone else had any good or bad experience with them?

Many thanks

I bought a lovely Triumph Daytona 955i from Tom Conway's 6 years ago, it was just about mint and gave me two years of happy riding, no problems at all. Eventually traded it in at another dealers, but wish I hadn't.

Just remember two things about buying from Tom, one is,he's not taking the piss, just seems like it sometimes 'cos of his Tourettes ( seriously ).

The second is, you'll probably get what you pay for, no more, no less.

I thought the services done there were spot on too.

Straight talking business man, I was happy enough to buy a bike from him last October.
His Mechanic is one of the best

A colleague at work bought a KTM off him last year, the bike was problematic to say the least. Conway tried to rectify it over a few months (my colleague had another KTM from Conways to use in the interim), the KTM it couldn`t be sorted to the satisfaction of my colleague.

In the end the `loan` KTM became my colleagues new bike....reasonable service from Conways I`d say.

I bought my 1100 off him 5years ago, only saw it on web, gave me good deal on my Triumph Speedmaster, arranged delivery to S. Wales at reasonable price. Said if BMW was not as described I could cancel deal no problem. 5 years later still got it and not planning on parting with it, so all good as far as I'm concerned.:thumb2

I nearly bought an ST1300 of him a few years ago, the only reason i didn't was because of the poor part ex offered on my VFR and was offered a lot more at a Honda dealership (understandably)

Seemed a good bloke to me though.
