tom-tom go 510/710

I have an old tom-tom go 510 which I have updated and it is now showing as a 710 (?) anyway I was wondering if anybody has used google maps to download routes to it? I just use either a final destination and ride where I want as a route or use the itinerary planning. Is there a way of doing routes via google maps or downloading others routes to it or is it too old for that modern malarky and its time to buy another?

Try using TYRE program, think that will tx a route to 710, does to 720 and 930 I have

I used to use a 720 on the bike, in a GIVI waterproof case, but a 710 the roads have changed since the Romans were here.....
