Does anyone know the cheapest and quickest place to get the Western Europe CF card for a Tom Tom Rider

YES

Try www.thenavigationcompany.com they will sell you the CD and copy all of the maps onto an SD card for you before both are delivered. Cost about £184 all in. Or you could wait and see what Tom Tom eventually offer once their European version of the Rider is widely available - if you're in no hurry.

If you have a good speed internet connection then Tomtom theirselves will let you download the Europian maps for about £80.(depends on exchange rate). I purchased a good speed 1GB SD card for £24 and did the rest myself. It was the cheapest and easiest option i could find after days of trailing through overpriced middle men, and companies which said they could deliver but couldn't.
Its quite worrying when the manufacturers theirselves are the cheapest suppliers, even for most of the accessories for the rider. The only issue with accessories is the 10euro (£7?) flat postage rate which makes a difference on the cheaper items.
