Hi Guys,

I've been told about some 'factory' refurbed rider v2's. Are these any good ?

It's only the Head unit for sale, what else do I/would I need, power leads, mounts (car and bike), map card, including Europe maps etc. Are any of these items available on the internet/e-bay for instance ?

Do any headphones fit into them, such as ipod headphones etc ? Something that would fit under my helmet etc.

Help.

there is NO access for pluging in stuff, its bluetooth only

i guess you could buy stuff from ebay for it, you have about mentioned everything you will need.

They are the bare head unit only without SD map CARD about £139 but the sd card for europe is £55, so go for the one with it already supplied from the same company,£199 Plus £55 For bike mount total £254 plus postage
can buy uk version £290, or europe version £332 with everthing included, your choice

I was thinking of taking punt, but I'll have to have a think on, seems very cheap + from America, fool and his money and all that.

Anyone purchased from this guy?

SD Memory Card with pre-installed Western Europe & Canaries maps
Carrying Case
I do apologize but this listing does not include the motorcycle mount or dock or any other accessories other than what is listed above. It will work without these other accessories, but it will not be able to mount to motorcycle without obtaining them. Sorry there is no headset included with this GPS so you will not be able to use the audio functions unless you purchase a compatible headset or helmet.

So the're's two parts you'll need, one is the RAM mount (RAM-B-178) and a Rider 2 cradle for use on the bike .

Ive just received the gps unit from this seller £105. All appears good, received only five days after ordering and it was not stopped at customs (probably owing to the value on paper work showing £20 ). I have also purchased the RAM m/cycle mount for £29 and the Scala Rider Q2 for £80. So all in all a good saving.
