Hi,

I have just had an e-mail from TomTom where they inform you about the recent legislation changes in France which prohibits the use of camera warning GPS systems. They confirm that the relevant French minister has confirmed that a 'Safety Zone' warning is however permitted. :augie

TomTom have already created the necessary file updates, e.g. they replace camera warnings for Safety Zones and then they list numerous compatible devices. So far, so good. :)

But when you look at the devices listed, neither Tom Tom Rider 1 / 2 or Pro are listed so this means no motorcycle specific devices are capable of being 'updated'. But of course if you update your device then you will erase the current camera warnings. :blast

Further, the Iphone app is not yet compatible for safety zone updates but will become so soon! :comfort

For info.

I have just updated my Tom Tom 2 and as you say the speed camera warning has been erased.
